Quán Đạo sư ở mức độ nào nhận được gia trì ở mức độ đó
Jamyang Khyentse Chokyi Lodro đã từng nói, “Nếu bạn coi đạo sư như người thường, và cầu nguyện đến ngài theo cách đó, thì bạn sẽ nhận được kết quả tương ứng.” Vậy nếu bạn coi đạo sư như một người tốt, từ bi thì bạn sẽ nhận được sự gia trì nhiều tương ứng. Nếu bạn xem đạo sư như vị A-la-hán thì bạn sẽ nhận được sự gia trì của a-la-hán, và nếu bạn nhìn nhận đạo sư như vị đại bồ tát địa thứ nhất hay địa thứ mười thì bạn sẽ nhận được sự gia trì của cấp bậc đó. Tương tự thế, nhờ quán đạo sư như phật, bạn sẽ nhận được sự gia trì vô cùng to lớn, tương ứng với thái độ đó.

By thinking of the Guru in a particular way
you will receive the blessing that correspond to that attitude
Jamyang Khyentsé Chökyi Lodrö once said, “If you treat the guru as an ordinary person, and pray to him as such, you will have a corresponding result.” So if you think of the guru as a good, compassionate person, you will get that much blessing. If you think of the guru as an arhat, you will receive the blessings of an arhat, and if you think of the guru is a great bodhisattva on the first or tenth bhumi, then that is the blessing you will receive. Similarly, by thinking that the guru is a buddha, you will receive the tremendous blessings that correspond to that particular attitude. It all depends on your outlook. In any case, it is all your own perception.
